Terms of service

These terms govern purchases made on kaimok.com. By placing an order you accept them. We recommend reading them before you buy.

1. Who we are

2. Who we sell to

We sell to consumers and also to businesses and professionals. If you buy as a consumer, consumer law protects you and you have the rights explained below. The terms that apply to businesses are in section 11.

3. Products and prices

We describe and photograph our products with great care. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen, and the sizes and weights are those shown on each product page.

Prices on the website include VAT where it applies. Delivery costs are shown before you confirm your order, and there are no other hidden costs. If we spot an obvious pricing error, we will tell you before we dispatch your order and you can confirm it at the correct price or cancel it at no cost.

4. How to place an order

To buy, add the products to your basket, enter your details and delivery address, choose a payment method and confirm your order. Before you pay, you can check and correct your details and the products.

The contract is formed when you receive our order confirmation email. If a product is not available, we will email you with the expected restock date or offer you a full refund.

We sell in Spanish, French, Italian and English. We keep a record of the contract, and you can ask for a copy by emailing kaimok@kaimok.com.

5. Payment

You can pay using the methods shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you confirm your order. Payments are processed through secure platforms, and Kaimok does not store your card details.

6. Delivery

The delivery terms (zones, delivery times, costs and free delivery) are in our shipping policy, which forms part of these terms.

Two important rules:

• We deliver your order no later than 30 calendar days after confirmation, unless we have told you another date. If we do not, you can ask us to deliver within a further reasonable period and, if it still does not arrive, cancel the order and get back what you paid.
• Until you receive your order, the risk of loss or damage is ours. When it arrives, we recommend checking the parcel in front of the courier and noting any visible damage on the delivery note. If you did not, you can still make a claim: email us with photos as soon as possible.

We do not deliver to Ceuta or Melilla. Customs duties, taxes in the country of delivery and customs clearance, where they apply, are paid by the customer.

7. Your right to cancel and returns

If you buy as a consumer, you have 14 days to cancel your purchase without giving a reason. How to do it, who pays for the return, when we refund you and the model cancellation form are in our returns and cancellation policy.

8. Legal guarantee and faulty products

All our products come with the legal guarantee of conformity. In Spain, for new goods, it lasts three years from delivery. If you live in another country of the European Union, whichever is more favourable to you applies, the Spanish guarantee or the one in your own country, which is never less than two years. If you live in the United Kingdom, your rights are set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If a product does not conform (it is not as we described it, it does not work or it arrives damaged), you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced free of charge. If that is not possible or we do not do it within a reasonable time, you can ask for a price reduction or a refund.

To make a claim under the guarantee, email kaimok@kaimok.com with your order number and photos of the problem. In these cases we pay the collection and delivery costs. The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by incorrect fitting or use, for example installing the product on a wall that cannot support its weight.

Please remember that fitting and wall fixing depend on the wall in each home. Always follow the instructions and the maximum weight of each product.

9. Customer service and complaints

If you have a complaint, email us at kaimok@kaimok.com and we will reply as soon as possible.

Kaimok does not subscribe to any out-of-court dispute resolution scheme for consumer disputes. As a consumer, you can also contact the consumer protection body in your own country.

10. Data protection and cookies

We process your data in line with our privacy policy and use cookies in line with our cookie policy, both available on the website.

11. Purchases by businesses and professionals

If you buy as a business or professional:

• The 14-day right to cancel and the consumer legal guarantee do not apply. If your order arrives damaged or faulty, email us within 7 calendar days of delivery with photos and we will put it right.
• The commercial terms agreed with your business (discounts, payment terms) apply to orders placed through your account and are confirmed in writing.
• We issue an invoice using the tax details you give us when you order. To be invoiced with your intra-EU VAT number, give it to us before you pay.
• For returns of business orders, email us and we will agree the terms.

12. Intellectual property

The texts, photographs, designs, product names and brands on this website belong to Kaimok Design SL or are used with permission. You may not copy them or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. They apply to orders placed from the date of publication. Your order is governed by the terms in force when you placed it.

14. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you buy as a consumer, this does not take away the protection given to you by the law of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings in the courts where you live. For purchases by businesses, the courts of Valencia have jurisdiction.
